  • Cream Cheese: 8 oz softened, for a rich and creamy base.
  • Sour Cream: ½ cup to add tanginess and smooth texture.
  • Ranch Seasoning Mix: 1 packet for a savory, herby flavor boost.
  • Shredded Cheese: 1½ cups cheddar or Mexican blend for a gooey, cheesy finish.
  • Chopped Fresh Cilantro optional: 2 tbsp, for a pop of color and fresh herbal flavor.
  • Optional Add-Ins: Diced jalapeños for extra heat or cooked crumbled bacon for a smoky touch.

Method
 

Preheat & Prep:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
Mix the Ingredients:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until smooth.
  2. Fold in the Rotel tomatoes (drained) and shredded cheese. Add optional jalapeños or bacon if using.
Bake to Perfection:
  1. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish & Serve:
  1. Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro for extra freshness.
  2. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced veggies.

  • For a Thicker Dip: Use less sour cream or add more shredded cheese.
  • Slow Cooker Method: Combine ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
