Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness for quicker cooking.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, and dried thyme.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add green beans and sauté for about 5-6 minutes, until tender but still crisp.
Drizzle lemon juice over green beans and toss to coat.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
