  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness for quicker cooking.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, and dried thyme.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Add green beans and sauté for about 5-6 minutes, until tender but still crisp.
  8. Drizzle lemon juice over green beans and toss to coat.
  9. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
