Ingredients
  

  • 1 25 oz package of refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ½ cup cooked ground beef or Italian sausage

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Ravioli – If using frozen ravioli, cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Mix Cheese Filling – In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan, chopped parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Assemble the Lasagna
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
  7. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli.
  8. Add another layer of marinara sauce and sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella.
  9. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
  10. Bake the Lasagna
  11. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  12. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  13. Serve – Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra parsley and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any type of ravioli, such as spinach and ricotta, beef, or even lobster for a gourmet touch.
  • To make this dish ahead of time, assemble it fully, cover, and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • To freeze, assemble the lasagna, wrap tightly, and freeze for up to 3 months. Bake directly from frozen at 375°F, covered for 45-50 minutes, then uncovered for another 20 minutes.
