Step-by-Step Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add softened cream cheese, heavy cream, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until creamy.
- Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet. Cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly until cheese melts and thickens the sauce.
- Add uncooked shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 5-6 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the drained fettuccine directly into the skillet. Toss gently and add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Serve immediately.

Notes
For best results, soften the cream cheese before use, reserve pasta water for sauce consistency, avoid overcooking shrimp, use fresh Parmesan, and feel free to add veggies for extra nutrition.
