Add chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, diced green chilies, cumin, cayenne pepper, oregano, paprika, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Add the beans, corn, and shredded chicken. Stir to combine.
Simmer uncovered over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes to meld flavors.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream or Greek yogurt until creamy and smooth.
Ladle into bowls and top with your choice of cilantro, cheese, tortilla chips, green onions, or avocado.
