Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine one package of white cake mix, two large eggs, and a ⅓ cup of vegetable oil. Mix until a smooth, thick dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into two portions. Color one portion with red gel food coloring and the other with green gel food coloring.
  3. Cover the dough and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to maintain shape during baking.
  4. Scoop the dough and roll into balls about one inch in diameter, alternating between red and green.
  5. Roll the dough balls in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  6. Place the dough balls on a lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 9 to 11 minutes.
  7. Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
