Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 bell peppers any color, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Method
 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook for about 2 minutes until it begins to soften.
  3. Stir in the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
  7. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes
