Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional minute to combine the flavors.
  5. Serve the garlic butter shrimp over cooked rice or pasta, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
