Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce by combining hot sauce and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until fully coated.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the wings and toss again. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
