Step-by-Step Instructions for Ghostly Lasagna
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment, ensuring you have a baking dish.
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and adjust seasoning as desired.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of your baking dish.
  5. Layer lasagna noodles over the marinara sauce, followed by each component in the order of the ricotta-spinach mixture, shredded chicken, and mozzarella. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of sauce and mozzarella.
  6. Shape leftover mozzarella into ghost figures on top of the lasagna, placing black olive slices as eyes.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
  8. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
