Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or silicone molds with a bit of butter.
  2. Melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth and melted, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup of tonic water quickly.
  5. If using, divide the mixture into separate bowls and add neon food coloring, folding gently.
  6. Pour the Rice Krispies cereal into a large mixing bowl and add the marshmallow mixture, folding until coated.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the greased pan or molds and press down firmly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature for 1-2 hours or in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  9. Dim the lights or turn on a blacklight before serving to showcase the glow.

Notes
