For the Peaches
  • 4 pieces Fresh Peaches Freestone variety preferred.
For the Sweet Glaze
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup May substitute with honey or agave syrup.
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Adds richer flavor.
For the Crunchy Topping
  • 1/2 cup Pecans Toasted and chopped, optional; can substitute with walnuts.
For Serving
  • Ice Cream or Greek Yogurt Vanilla ice cream or Greek yogurt preferred.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash the peaches and slice each in half, removing the pit. Keep the skins on.
  2. Coat the cut sides of the peach halves with maple syrup and let sit.
  3. Heat grill pan and melt butter. Grill peaches cut-side down for 4–8 minutes.
  4. Rotate peaches and grill for another 4 minutes.
  5. Remove from pan and brush with additional maple syrup. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  6. For serving, place peaches over ice cream or yogurt and sprinkle with pecans.
