- Begin by preheating your grill to medium heat, about 350°F to 375°F.
- While the grill heats, slice the bell peppers and red onion into strips. Toss with olive oil, kosher salt, and ground black pepper.
- Place the Italian sausages on the grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, achieving an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Once the sausages are halfway done, add the seasoned peppers and onions to a grill basket or wrap in foil. Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Once everything is cooked, remove from the grill, let the sausages rest, then serve in toasted rolls or on a platter.
