Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by selecting a ripe, seedless watermelon. Slice it into strips approximately 1/2 inch thick and about 4 inches long.
  2. In a small bowl, cut and squeeze fresh limes to extract the juice needed for the recipe.
  3. Sprinkle Tajín seasoning generously over the brushed watermelon strips.
  4. Set up your dehydrator and place the seasoned watermelon strips in a single layer.
  5. If you don't have a dehydrator, preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C) and lay the watermelon strips on a baking sheet.
  6. Once your watermelon jerky has reached that perfect chewy texture, remove it from the dehydrator or oven and let it cool completely.
