Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water slurry
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in broccoli and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, water, and vinegar. Pour into the pan and stir.
  4. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender, about 2–3 more minutes.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef with turkey or chicken if desired.
  • Add bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots for variety.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
