Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Remove the silver membrane from the ribs. Pat ribs dry, rub olive oil on the surface, and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. For oven method, preheat to 300°F. Bake ribs on a lined sheet for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. For smoker, preheat to 225°F and smoke for 5-6 hours.
  3. In a saucepan, combine honey, jalapeños, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and optional pepper flakes. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thick.
  4. After cooking, brush the glaze onto the ribs. Broil on high for 5 minutes or grill until sticky.
  5. Let ribs rest for 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm with remaining glaze.
