Matcha Preparation
- In a small bowl, measure 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and whisk it with 2 tablespoons of hot water until smooth and vibrant in color.
- Continue whisking until the mixture is free of lumps to ensure a rich flavor.
Strawberry Preparation
- Dice 3 fresh strawberries and mix with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or honey until juicy.
Cold Foam Creation
- Combine the mashed strawberries with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of milk, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. Froth until thick.
Latte Assembly
- Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes and pour in 1 cup of milk.
- Gently pour the prepared matcha mixture over the milk and ice, then spoon the strawberry cold foam on top.
