Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by spraying the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Lay the boneless skinless chicken breasts evenly at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts and sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly on top.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 2–3 hours or low for 4–5 hours.
  5. Carefully remove the lid and shred the chicken using two forks.
  6. Add the cubed cream cheese directly into the shredded chicken and stir until fully melted.
  7. Stir in half of the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and bacon on top and heat for an additional 5–10 minutes.
  9. Serve hot on hamburger or slider buns, or over rice.
