- Clean and dry the oyster mushrooms. Tear larger mushrooms into similar-sized pieces.
- Combine the spices in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Whisk the spice mix with soy milk and nutritional yeast until smooth, then let it rest.
- Coat each mushroom piece in the batter, then roll in the dry spice mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry mushrooms in batches for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove fried mushrooms and drain on oil-absorbing paper.
- Squeeze lime juice over the mushrooms before serving.
