Ingredients

For the Cake
  • 4 large Egg Whites Must be fresh and at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup Honey Opt for a strong-flavored variety.
Optional Flavor Add-ins
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract A splash for added flavor.
  • 1 tsp Almond Extract Use carefully to maintain sweetness.

Equipment

  • 6-cup bundt pan
  • 9x13 baking pan
  • Electric Mixer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 6-cup bundt pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add egg whites at room temperature and beat on medium speed until frothy, about 2 minutes. Gradually add honey and beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. Pour the fluffy batter into the prepared bundt pan, layering to avoid air pockets.
  4. Place the bundt pan in a 9x13 baking pan and pour water into the larger pan until about half an inch deep.
  5. Bake for approximately 15 minutes without opening the oven door. Turn off the oven and let the cake set for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the bundt pan from the oven and cool in the water bath for about 10 minutes.
  7. Gently flip the cake onto a serving plate, allow to cool completely on a wire rack, and drizzle with honey if desired.
