Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Adjust one rack to the center and another for broiling.
  2. Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place skin-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Roast the salmon for about 12 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C).
  4. In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and bourbon. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle the glaze over the top. Broil for 1-3 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
  6. Serve immediately with reserved glaze for dipping and your favorite roasted vegetables.
