Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat, then add the sliced onion. Sauté for about 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and caramelized.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking dish for the sweet rolls.
- Slice the sweet rolls in half, keeping the tops and bottoms attached. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
- Layer half of the provolone cheese slices over the bottom halves, followed by the sliced roast beef and sautéed onions. Top with remaining cheese slices.
- Mix melted butter with dried onion soup mix and brush over the tops of the assembled sliders.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until tops are golden brown.
- Prepare the au jus by combining the gravy mix with 3 cups of water and heating until thickened.
- Remove sliders from the oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes
Enjoy these sliders warm, as they are best fresh from the oven.
