- Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Preheat & Cook: Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface, then cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- Rest & Serve: Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, marinate overnight for maximum flavor.
- No grill? Use a cast-iron pan or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
