Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- In a blender, combine one medium kiwi, four stalks of green onions, ½ cup of pineapple juice, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, four cloves of garlic, and 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger. Blend until smooth to create the marinade.
- Place 2 pounds of beef short ribs into a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the meat. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill or air fryer to high heat, around 400°F (200°C). This ensures a nice char on the beef.
- Remove the marinated short ribs from the bag, letting excess marinade drip off. Grill for about 5 minutes on each side or until charred and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Optionally, grill pineapple slices for a sweet accompaniment during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest before slicing. Serve hot, optionally with grilled pineapple slices.

Notes
For best flavor, marinate overnight and avoid exceeding 24 hours with kiwi to prevent mushiness.
