  2. Gradually pour in 1½ cups of warm water (100-110°F) into the dry ingredients. Mix until a sticky, shaggy dough forms.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise at room temperature for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  5. Once doubled in size, flour a clean surface and gently pour the sticky dough onto it. Shape into a round loaf.
  6. Place the shaped loaf in a parchment-lined oven-safe dish and cover with a lid.
  7. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and bake the bread with the lid on for 30 minutes.
