Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat chicken dry and rub with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange chicken on the rack and roast for 35 minutes.
- Remove from oven, brush with BBQ sauce, and return to oven for 10–15 more minutes, until caramelized and internal temp is 165°F.
- Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra char.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
