- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the beaten egg and stir gently until just combined.
- Press half of the mixture firmly into the bottom of the baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix fresh peaches with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon until well-coated.
- Spread the peach filling evenly over the pre-baked crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the peach filling.
