- Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Heat about 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is shimmering, add the green beans and fry them for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until they become blistered and tender.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mince the garlic and add it to the mixture.
- Pour the garlic sauce over the blistered green beans while keeping the heat high. Stir-fry for about 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Transfer the finished green beans to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired and serve immediately.
