Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard muffin tin.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out your thawed puff pastry sheets to smooth out any creases.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl; blend until smooth.
  4. Spread half of your cream cheese mixture over one sheet of puff pastry, then layer with raspberry preserves.
  5. Repeat with the second sheet, adding cream cheese filling and raspberry preserves.
  6. Roll each pastry sheet tightly into logs and slice in half lengthwise.
  7. Twist each half gently before coiling it into a spiral shape and place into greased muffin cups.
  8. Optional: Brush the tops of each cruffin with melted butter.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  10. Once baked, cool slightly in the pan before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
