Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and slicing 6-8 ripe peaches and measuring 2 cups of raspberries. Place the fruit into a blender, adding 1/4 cup of honey or agave syrup for sweetness. Blend until smooth, adding 1-2 tablespoons of water if necessary.
  2. Once blended, pour 3/4 cup of the fruit mixture onto a dehydrator tray and spread evenly into a thin layer, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Set your dehydrator to 135°F (57°C) and let the fruit leather dehydrate for about 7 hours. Check for doneness; it should feel dry and not stick to your fingers.
  4. Once the Raspberry Peach Fruit Leather is dry, cool it on the tray for about 10 minutes. Carefully peel it off and cut into 2-inch strips.
  5. Store the strips between sheets of parchment paper in an airtight container or sealable bag in a cool, dry place.
