Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by washing and slicing 6-8 ripe peaches and measuring 2 cups of raspberries. Place the fruit into a blender, adding 1/4 cup of honey or agave syrup for sweetness. Blend until smooth, adding 1-2 tablespoons of water if necessary.
- Once blended, pour 3/4 cup of the fruit mixture onto a dehydrator tray and spread evenly into a thin layer, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Set your dehydrator to 135°F (57°C) and let the fruit leather dehydrate for about 7 hours. Check for doneness; it should feel dry and not stick to your fingers.
- Once the Raspberry Peach Fruit Leather is dry, cool it on the tray for about 10 minutes. Carefully peel it off and cut into 2-inch strips.
- Store the strips between sheets of parchment paper in an airtight container or sealable bag in a cool, dry place.
