Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large pitcher, pour in 4 cups of cold filtered water. Add 4 green tea bags or the equivalent amount of loose leaf green tea, along with 10-12 fresh mint leaves. Gently stir the mixture to ensure everything is well combined.
- Thinly slice 2 ripe kiwis and add them to the pitcher. For a sweeter drink, muddle a few slices using a wooden spoon to release their natural juices.
- If you desire a touch of sweetness, stir in your preferred sweetener, such as honey, agave syrup, or stevia, to taste.
- Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the mixture to chill and infuse for at least 6-8 hours, or preferably overnight.
- After the infusion time, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator. Strain out the green tea, mint leaves, and any kiwi slices. Serve the tea over ice in clear glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional kiwi slices.
