Step-by-Step Instructions
- Make Strawberry Syrup: Wash and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries, place in a medium saucepan, add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes until thickened. Strain and cool.
- Brew Tea: Boil 2 cups of water, remove from heat, add 3-4 black tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes, then remove bags. Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar while hot until dissolved. Cool.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, pour cooled strawberry syrup, add brewed tea and 2 cups of cold water. Stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour Strawberry Iced Tea over, and garnish with mint leaves and sliced strawberries.
