Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Peaches & Peach Syrup: Wash, pit, and dice about five ripe peaches. Combine with sugar, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan, simming for 10–15 minutes until soft.
  2. Make & Cool Peach Puree: Mash the softened peach mixture, strain through a sieve into a bowl for smooth puree, and cool completely.
  3. Prepare Simple Syrup: Combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves, and let cool.
  4. Prepare Lemonade Base: Juice lemons to yield 1 ½ cups of juice, strain and mix with simple syrup in a large pitcher.
  5. Assemble Lemonade: Stir cooled peach puree into the lemon-syrup mixture, gradually add cold water to taste.
  6. Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then serve over ice and garnish with peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint.
