  • 4 cups Water Use hot water for brewing and cold water for serving.

  • 1 pinch Salt Optional, enhances sweetness and acidity.
For the Zest
  • 2/3 cup Fresh Lime Juice Lemon juice works in a pinch.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a small pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 cup of the Thai tea mix to the hot water and steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the tea mix using a fine mesh strainer or tea sock.
  4. While the tea is still hot, stir in 2/3 to 3/4 cup of sugar until fully dissolved.
  5. Add 4 cups of cold water and 2/3 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice to the pitcher.
  6. Prepare glasses filled with ice and pour the Thai lime iced tea mixture over the ice.
