  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Sweet paprika is a great alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Fresh onion can be finely diced if preferred.
For Cooking
  • ½ cup Water Chicken broth makes it more flavorful.
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper Essential for seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the reserved peach juice, fresh rosemary, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place your chicken breasts in a shallow dish and apply the seasoning mixture over both sides of the chicken. Let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Pour in ½ cup of water to the skillet to deglaze and incorporate the flavors.
  5. Add the canned sliced peaches and any remaining rosemary to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink and reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh rosemary if desired.
