- Start by rinsing your boneless chicken thighs or breasts under cold water and trimming any excess fat. Cut the chicken into approximately 2-inch pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, honey, rice wine, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
- Coat the chicken pieces in the marinade and seal the bowl with plastic wrap or a zip-top bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes until hot.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden-brown.
- Use some of the reserved marinade to baste the chicken while cooking, adjusting heat as necessary.
