Step-by-Step Instructions for Eggy Tofu Patties
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375˚F (190˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the tofu block in half width-wise and then slice each half length-wise to create four pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, turmeric, and a pinch of black salt. Whisk until well-blended.
  4. Dredge each tofu slice through the dry mixture, ensuring all sides are coated. Arrange them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then flip each patty and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Optionally, add 5 minutes for extra crunch.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with a touch of black salt, and serve warm.
