- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, garlic, ginger, and onion. Cook until beef is browned.
- Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha.
- Add chopped water chestnuts and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in green onions.
- Spoon beef mixture into lettuce leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crunch, top with chopped peanuts or sesame seeds.
- Try ground turkey or chicken as a variation.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a more filling meal.
- Lettuce wraps are best assembled just before eating.
