- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add 250g of ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.

- While beef simmers, cook 120g of vermicelli for 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

- Combine the drained vermicelli with the beef sauce, toss to coat, and heat through for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, and chili oil if desired before serving.
