Step-by-Step Instructions for Hamburger Soup
  1. In a large soup pot over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of salt. Brown the meat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the beef is no longer pink and the onions become translucent.
  2. Add your chopped Yukon Gold potatoes, beef broth, condensed tomato soup, and petite diced tomatoes (do not drain) to the pot. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Toss in the frozen mixed vegetables along with a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently, making sure the veggies are evenly dispersed.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover the pot and let the soup simmer for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Carefully taste your Hamburger Soup after 30 minutes and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper, if needed. Serve hot.
