  • 3 tablespoons Minced garlic Fresh preferred
For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Honey Can substitute with maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Gluten-free option: tamari
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Lime juice works as a substitute
For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Optional but recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds For an elegant touch

Method
 

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of minced garlic, ¼ cup of honey, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and the juice of 1 lemon.
  2. Place your salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully covered. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  5. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds.
