  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can lighten it up
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice or lemon juice as substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Honey maple syrup for vegan option
Garnishes
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Scallions

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, and finely chopped green onions. Add in the egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, brown sugar, rice vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly but gently.
  3. Shape into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, gochujang, lime juice, and honey until smooth.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
