Cooking Steps
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create a marinade. Add thinly sliced beef and toss until all pieces are well-coated. Let the beef marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef marinates, slice the bell peppers and chop the onion. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and sauté bell peppers and onion over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Add the garlic and ginger, sauté for another minute. Return beef to the skillet, add broth, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
