Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Kosher recommended
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water Chicken broth can be a substitute
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar Do not substitute with regular vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Low-sodium preferred
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Brown sugar offers a deeper flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Sauce Adjust according to spice tolerance
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (minced) Fresh or ground ginger can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder Adjust for milder flavor if desired
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Lemon can be substituted
For Garnishes
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds For sprinkling on top
  • 2 stalks Green Onion Chopped, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Red Chilies For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry. Sprinkle half of the salt over the wings and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake the wings for 20 minutes. Flip the wings and sprinkle the remaining salt on top. Bake for another 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a skillet, combine water, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, chili sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, curry powder, and lime juice. Whisk together and bring to a low boil.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 5-7 minutes until it thickens. Once the wings are done, toss them in the sauce until coated.
  6. Transfer wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and red chilies before serving.
