Ingredients
  

Panna Cotta Base
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream adds richness
  • 1 cup Milk balances creaminess
  • 1/2 cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Gelatin Powder essential for setting
  • 2 pods Cardamom Pods for infusion
Poached Pears
  • 2 cups White Wine or apple juice
  • 2 pieces Pears any variety, peeled and halved
Garnish
  • Mint Leaves
  • Lemon Zest

Method
 

Panna Cotta Preparation
  1. Soak gelatin powder in cold water for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat, add crushed cardamom pods, and infuse for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture to remove cardamom pods and add soaked gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
  5. Pour the mixture into individual serving glasses.
Pears Preparation
  1. Bring white wine to a gentle simmer in a saucepan.
  2. Add peeled and halved pears, poaching for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove pears and let them cool in the poaching liquid.
Assembly
  1. Invert the glasses to showcase the panna cotta’s shape.
  2. Slice poached pears and arrange them on top of the panna cotta.
  3. Garnish with mint leaves or lemon zest before serving.
