  • 1 medium Onion sliced
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce or hoisin, Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger freshly grated
For the Thickening
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Oil Peanut, Vegetable, or Avocado

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine beef strips with soy sauce and cornstarch. Allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  3. Increase heat to high, add marinated beef strips in a single layer, and sear for 3–4 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and freshly grated ginger, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the remaining soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add sliced bell peppers to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 2–3 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
