Cooking Steps
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add 1 chopped yellow onion, 1 diced celery stalk, and 1 diced green pepper to the pan. Sauté for 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir in 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 cup of water. Mix thoroughly and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Slice the Sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the pan.
- Spoon the simmered meat mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls and place the top half back on, pressing down gently.
- Bake uncovered for 10 minutes until slightly crispy. Then cover with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and cut into sliders. Serve warm.
