Method
- Season short ribs and sear in a hot pan until browned. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Add onion, garlic, broth, wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire, soy sauce, thyme, and bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until ribs are fork-tender.
- Remove ribs and strain sauce. Skim off fat and serve with reduced sauce.
Notes
- For thicker sauce, simmer strained liquid on the stove.
- Pairs well with creamy mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
