Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt and gradually add to wet ingredients
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping
- Shape dough into balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar
- Place on baking sheet and bake 8–10 minutes
Notes
- Slightly underbake for chewier centers
- Use parchment for easy clean-up
- Can be frozen after baking
