Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles cooked
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, mix sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add cooked beef mixture and cooked noodles to the bowl; stir to combine.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap cheddar cheese with Monterey Jack for a creamier flavor.
  • Add peas or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • Use wide egg noodles for best texture.
